A glittery Gateshead Winter’s Tale will unfold as part of the Enchanted Parks program Dec. 8-12 at Gateshead’s Saltwell Park. Tickets are free for children under 16 and £5/$8 for adults. Juice is a celebration of creativity in children and young people across NewcastleGateshead, from hip hop to poetry, film making to music, comedy to animation. The festival, from Oct. 22-Nov. 8, is about viewing and doing, including pumpkin carving, street games and AfroReggae Family Day. Many of the events are free.
