Toad Hall Cottages is offering two thatched holiday homes within Devon’s Dartmoor National Park with special August Bank Holiday savings. Both homes are well-located for walking, riding, cycling and fishing on the moor, while the coast is half an hour away and Exeter 10 miles.
- Freelands Cottage, sleeping four, is a Grade II-listed home in the moorland village of Manaton. The thatched cottage has the original granite walls and an inglenook in the sitting room. It’s currently reduced to £530/$826 per week, saving £133/$207 until Aug. 27, when it is £416/$649 per week
- For families of up to seven, Higher Eggbeer Farm is a quirky and rustic home with views near Cheriton Bishop. There’s a large lawn for ball games and children can make friends with the farm animals including ponies, cows and guinea fowl. Weekly rental is now £702/$1,095, saving £175/$273 until Aug. 27, when the price is reduced to £551/$859.
