16th-century Church Cottage in Thurlestone, sleeping four, is near a sandy beach and links course. Rental is now £433/$631 per week, saving £108/$157 until July 2.
Sandycoombe, also sleeping four and within a walk of the wooded banks of the Avon estuary, is a 10-minute drive from the sandy beach at Bigbury-on-Sea. Rental is £332/$483 a week, saving £82/$120.
