Free Events Added for Museums at Night
The annual Museums at Night campaign May 14-16 will have curators keeping the doors open late at more than 2,500 museums and galleries across Europe. London’s museums, from the Victoria & Albert Museum to the Natural History Museum, will welcome night-time visitors, as will Manchester’s. Octopus Travel is promoting the boutique Park City Hotel in London’s museum district of Kensington, from $174/£117 per room per night, including breakfast. In Manchester, the Palace Theatre Hotel, from $129/£87 double, is on Oxford Road near the Manchester Museum, which has dinosaurs, mummies and live animals.
