Asparagus Festival Spearheads Quirky Fun

Each year, the rural market town of Evesham celebrates the start of the English asparagus season. There’s an asparagus family – Aspara Gus and baby Gus—and last year, an asparagus reader was added who tells a visitor’s fortune by looking at the vegetables spears.
